A service for Barbara Allen Woodmansee, 55, a Dayton resident for the past year and Carson City resident for seven years, will be at 4 p.m. today at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Woodmansee died Jan. 8, 2004, in Reno. She was born March 17, 1948, in Woburn, Mass., to Joseph and Grace Macu Smith.
She graduated from North Hollywood High School in Hollywood, Calif.
She married Tom Woodmansee Feb. 14, 1991, in Concord, Calif.
She lived most of her life in the California East Bay.
Mrs. Woodmansee was a research analyst for the state of Nevada for the Employment Security Department. She loved to arrange flowers and read books. She was a Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Among her survivors are her husband of Dayton; son and daughter-in-law Jim and Elizabeth of California; sons Jason of Escondido, Calif., and Jeremy of Reno; sisters Laurie Covington and Patty Monolias, both of Saugus, Calif.; brothers Joe Smith of Coco Beach, Fla., Dave Smith of Mojave, Calif., and Ted Smith of California; and one grandchild.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
