A memorial service for Kittie E. Allen, 92, an 18-year Dayton resident, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Allen died April 4, 2007, in Carson City. She was born June 8, 1914, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Arthur and Annie Mae Luekinbill Shafer.

Before moving to Dayton, Mrs. Allen lived in Lovelock.

She was a high school graduate and a homemaker.

She belonged to the Pershing County Horseman's Association and the Pershing County Cowbelles.

She was preceded in death by husband, Elmer Allen, in 2002, in Dayton.

Among her survivors are daughters and sons-in-law Barbara and Johnny Morse of Dayton, Kaylene and Steve Milstein of the Virginia City Highlands; son and daughter-in-law Chuck and Debra Allen of Ft. Bragg, Calif.; stepson and daughter-in-law William and Eileen Allen of Ventura, Calif.; stepdaughter and son-in-law Valda and Bill Davis of Lubbock, Texas; stepdaughter Charlotte Lark of Clovis, N.M.; sisters Hattie Wallis, Ruby Sedgewick, Hazel Walker and Lois Christenson; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren and numerous extended-family members.

Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
