The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City has canceled steam train rides scheduled for Saturday and Sunday due to extreme fire danger and need to conserve water.
The next scheduled steam train operation is the weekend of July 31-Aug. 1.
The museum is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 2180 S. Carson St.
