A celebration of life for Debbie Granat, 56, a Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley resident for the past 15 years, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Granat died July 29, 2004, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born March 26, 1948, in Gary, Ind., to John C. and Bette J. Barr Holth.

Before moving to this area, she lived in Encinitas, Calif.

She was partners with her husband in an international tropical plant business for 27 years. She collected Longaberger baskets and antiques. She enjoyed horseback riding, skiing, traveling and boating.

She was preceded in death by her mother in 2002.

Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; father of Topaz Lake; daughters Jessica Granat and Erin Granat, both of Reno and brother, Lee Holth of San Marcos, Calif.

Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
