The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Joshua Garrison, 18, of Carson City was arrested at 9:58 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Kansas Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor probation violation, misdemeanor minor consuming, disturbing the peace and obstructing and resisting an officer. No bail was set.


• Everado Anaya, 33, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 9:22 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of felony discharging a firearm from a vehicle and abuse, neglect or endangerment of child. Anaya allegedly fired four or five shots from a 9mm handgun out the window of his vehicle on Champion Drive. According to the police report, a 2-year-old child and a 12-year-old child were playing nearby at the time. Bail was set at $40,000.


• Denise Townsend, 41, of Carson City was arrested at 7:10 p.m. Sunday in the 3300 block of Sherman Lane on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon. She allegedly brandished a knife at someone. Bail was set at $20,132.


• Victor Gonzalez-Mendez, 18, a transient construction worker, was arrested on Saturday at 11:26 a.m. on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, probation violation, and obstructing an officer. Bail was set at $6,000.




-- Deputies responded to the following calls:


• A person serving civil papers in the 3100 block of Douglas Drive on Sunday was yelled at and hit by the person he was serving. The case will be submitted to the District Attorney's Office.


• A man told medical personnel at Carson-Tahoe Hospital at 7:30 a.m. Saturday he was struck in the head with a gun in Reno.


• An ex-girlfriend kicked the new girlfriend's car causing damage Saturday at 10:11 a.m. in the 200 block of Rhodes Street.
