A memorial service for Donald Gene Mohling, 52, a Wellington resident, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Valley Christian Fellowship Church in the Meadowdale Center at 1267 Highway 395 with the Rev. Leo Kruger officiating.
Mr. Mohling died June 27, 2004, in Texas. He was born on Aug. 3, 1951, in Matador, Texas, to Melvin and Joyce Smith Mohling.
He graduated from Bells High School in 1969.
He was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church in Texas.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Rella Mohling and R.L. and Zelma Smith, and brother James Melton.
Among his survivors are his wife, Susan, of Wellington; parents of Bells, Texas; sons Jimmy Mohling of Lubbock, Texas, and Mike Ferris stationed in Guam with the U.S. Air Force; daughters, Valorie Meyer of Lubbock, Texas, Angela McNeil and Danielle Mohling, both of Sherman, Texas; sisters, Rebecca Brinkley of Bells and Chanda Cheney of Holts Summit, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.
