Gardnerville's Kenny Nicoll belted his first two home runs of the year to help lead the Dana College baseball team in in recent sweep of Waldorf College.

Nicoll also had a game-winning double during the four-game series in which the NAIA school Dana won 4-2, 12-8, 8-0 and 5-4.

In Dana's 12-8 win, Nicoll helped spark a comeback with his first homer of the season. Dana trailed 6-2 in the fifth when Nicoll began a 10-run rally with a leadoff homer.

In the 8-0 win, Nicoll hit a homer in the third as Dana took a 2-0 lead. In the 5-4 win, Nicoll's double with two runners on base provided for the margin of difference.

Dana is currently on a spring break trip to Florida with 10 games at the Port Charlotte Invite, which began March 11.
