The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 26-year-old change attendant from Carson City was arrested at 10:20 p.m. Monday in the 1400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

- Melissa Howell, 23, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 4:41 a.m. Tuesday on suspicion of felony probation violation and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. No bail was set.

n Deputies responded to the following calls:

- Justin Wade Bollinger, 27, of Carson City, was arrested at 1:05 a.m. in the 1500 block of Rand Avenue on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon and child neglect. He allegedly hit a bartender with a beer glass. When police went to arrest him, he said his 5-year-old child was home alone, according to the police report.

- A man called police Sunday to report a 12-year-old girl said she was sick with a fever, and her parents were "drunk and passed out." The call was unfounded.

- A toolbox was stolen from the back of a vehicle in the 400 block of West Winnie Lane on Monday.

- A clerk in the 2100 block of North Carson Street was assaulted by a man at 7:57 p.m. Monday. Before battering the clerk, the man allegedly broke a gas pump and cell phone. Police were unable to locate the suspect.

- A 2001 white GMC Denali was reported stolen from the 1500 block of Rand Avenue sometime between 9:15 p.m. Sunday and 8:13 p.m. Monday.

- A man was in an apartment in the 1600 block of North Carson Street at 9 p.m. Monday allegedly refusing to leave, threatening people, using drugs and offering people drugs.
