A funeral service for Geraldine Marie Linehan, a 10-year resident of Carson City, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Mrs. Linehan died May 13, 2004, at her home. She was born Sept. 4, 1917, in Peoria, Ill., to Elmer Owen and Gladys Marie Epperson King. She was 86.
She recently celebrated 24 years of sobriety, which she considered one of her greatest accomplishments.
She married Edward J. Linehan April 17, 1945, in Pasadena, Calif. He preceded her in death Dec. 31, 2003, in Carson City.
Prior to living in Carson City she lived in Pasadena for 74 years.
Mrs. Linehan was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.
Among her survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law Marie and Michael Foster of South Lake Tahoe, Diane and Frank Primka of Carson City, and Janet and Paul St. Amant of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law Patrick and Debra Linehan of Carson City; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Lone Mountain Cemetery.
