A funeral for Clara M. Morgan, 81, a Carson City resident for the past 27 years, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Visitation will be from noon-3 p.m. today at Walton's.

Mrs. Morgan died Nov. 17, 2004, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1922, in Trinidad, Calif., to Elmer J. and Mary Ann Watkins Matthews.

She graduated from high school and attended three years of college.

She spent her early life in Colorado. Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Grass Valley, Calif., for 54 years and Fresno, Calif., for many years.

Mrs. Morgan was a waitress at the Ormsby House for many years. She attended the Presbyterian church.

Among her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Cherrie Brooks-Goodrich and Edward Goodrich of Fresno; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Fresno Memorial Gardens in Fresno.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
