Josephine Bain, 76, a Carson City resident for the past 36 years, died Nov. 19, 2004, in Carson City. She was born April 5, 1928, in Long Beach, Calif., to Calvin and Sarah Jane Baird Coleman. She lived all over the world with her father, a career naval man.
She attended high school and two years of college.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Lone Pine, Calif., for more than 20 years.
Mrs. Bain was owner-operator of Sierra Nevada Chileno Pepper Co., a real estate broker and a dental hygienist. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and one sister.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Irving and Christine of Newcastle, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law, Jorja and Michael Longero of Carson City; twin sister, Paula Coleman of Reno; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held.
Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
