The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty:


• Savannah Leslie, 21, an unemployed transient from Carson City, was arrested at 12:16 a.m. Thursday in the 2700 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, providing false identification to avoid prosecution, misdemeanor contempt of court, possession of drug paraphernalia and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bail was set at $8,264.


• A 52-year-old nanny from Carson City was arrested at 4:09 a.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Lone Mountain Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


-- Deputies responded to the following calls:


• A license plate was stolen from a vehicle Wednesday in the 3300 block of Surrey Lane.


• A mother had her daughter arrested when the girl was being incorrigible and twisted the mother's fingers Wednesday.


• A grandchild told a neighbor in the 2000 block of Lone Mountain Drive her grandfather was attempting to hit her grandmother. The grandmother was arrested.


• A homeowner reported Wednesday her house on Jarrard Court was repeatedly shot with a paintball gun.


• A woman received a phone call Wednesday in which the caller threatened to rip out her heart .
