The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• An 18-year-old painter from Carson City was arrested at 1:33 a.m. Wednesday in the 3100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor minor consuming alcohol. Bail was set at $471.


• Michael Howard Menke Jr., 23, a night auditor from Carson City, was arrested at 11:09 a.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony probation violation and violating a suspended sentence. No bail was set.


n Deputies responded to the following calls:


• A 12-year-old girl told her parent Tuesday she overheard another student threaten to bring a gun to school. The juvenile who allegedly made the statements was identified and suspended from school, and the case is being submitted to the district attorney for review. Investigators said there was no "hit list," rumored to have been written by the student.


• For the past two nights, a man has driven through the Jack In the Box drive-through with his penis exposed, an employee reported at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday.


• A back license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of Country Village Drive on Monday.
