A memorial service for Margie Johnson, 68, a Gardnerville resident for the past 11 years, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Full Gospel Fellowship, 921 Mitch Drive, Gardnerville.
Mrs. Johnson died Dec. 23, 2005. She was born Oct. 1, 1937, in Pomona, Calif., to Fred and Regina.
She graduated from San Bernardino High School.
She married Jim Johnson on Aug. 24, 1957, in Las Vegas.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Torrance, Calif.
Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker.
Among her survivors are her husband; children Diane DelPrado of Huntington Beach, Calif., Leslie LeVan of Litchfield Park, Ariz., Kimberly Berry of Simpsonville, S.C., and Gary Johnson of Gardnerville; sister, Betty Kille; brothers Eddie and Dusty Rhodes; six grandchildren; and numerous extended-family members.
