The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 78-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 5:17 p.m. Tuesday in the 2500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor hit and run, second-offense drunken driving and violation of a suspended sentence on a drunken driving charge. Bail was set at $6,264.

n The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• A Valley View resident reported at 2:49 a.m. Tuesday a man knocked on the door and told him his vehicle broke down and he needed help. The man called police as the suspect at the door began to pound and try to enter. A 19-year-old was arrested for minor consuming.

• A 12-year-old boy was arrested at 11 a.m. Tuesday for being incorrigible.

• Change, compact discs and a bag were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of South Roop Street sometime Monday night.

• A tree was blocking the road on East Graves Lane and it appeared someone had driven through the median at 4:16 a.m. Wednesday.

• Graffiti was on Carson Middle School at 7:14 a.m. Wednesday.

• A man passed four fake $100 traveler's checks at a business in the Carson Mall on Wednesday at 10:16 a.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A misdemeanor arrest on Highway 50 East in Silver Springs at 1:56 a.m.

• Larceny report on Stokes Drive in Mound House at 5:56 a.m.

• Commercial burglary in the 10000 Highway 50 East in Mound House at 9:21 a.m.

• Accident in the 9000 block Mustang Trail in Stagecoach at 10:58 a.m.

• Shoplifting report in the 1400 block of Highway

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A man dropped off by friends in the Lockwood area at 4:20 a.m. was discovered wandering around. He was given a ride to the Chevron in Mustang.

• A citation was issued on Mustang Road in the Virginia City Highlands at 7:18 p.m.

• Loud juveniles were asked to leave a park on Sam Clemens Avenue at 8:41 p.m.

• Vehicle burglary in the 800 block of East Main Street in Fernley at 1:09 p.m.

• Domestic dispute in the 900 block of Jasper Way in Fernley at 1:15 p.m.

• Residential burglary in the 2700 block of Winnemucca Street in Silver Springs at 6:15 p.m.

• Fire in the 700 block of Divot Road in Fernley at 7:52 p.m.
