A celebration of life for Doreen Leigh Tucker, 35, a Carson City resident for the past 30 years, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Ms. Tucker died Jan. 23, 2005, at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno. She was born Jan. 21, 1970, in Sierra Madre, Calif., to Douglas C. and Geraldine Stubblefield Tucker.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Stateline.
Mrs. Tucker worked for Capital Ford in Carson City for the past nine years. She enjoyed softball and bowling.
She was preceded in death by a sister Deirdre Lou Tucker Dec. 7, 1966.
Among her survivors are her mother of Carson City; father and stepmother, Doug and Colleen Tucker of Gardnerville; daughter, Kayla Marie Tucker of Carson City; brothers David Lee Tucker of Whittier, Calif., and Donald L. Tucker of Carson City; sister and brother-in-law Deborah Lynn and Keith Fletcher of Carson City; sister Diana L. Zafranovich of Carson City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund established for Kayla Marie Tucker at U.S. Bank, Account No. 25375070818.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
