The Ormsby Sportsmen's Association (OSA) of Carson City, a local organization for hunting and fishing enthusiasts, will hold the second of a series of four monthly, summer picnics on Tuesday.
The summer picnics are held at Mills Park on the third Tuesday of the month during the months of June, July, August and September.
All of the picnics begin at 5:30 p.m. and last until approximately dark.
Anyone attending any of the picnics is requested to bring either a pot-luck salad or dessert, which can be shared with others.
Beginning in October, the sportsmen's club will revert back to monthly indoor meetings at the Carson Nugget Convention Center. Those meetings are also held on the third Tuesday of each month.
There is no regular meeting scheduled for the month of December.
All OSA meetings, functions and activities are free of charge and open to all club members and to anyone else who is interested in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, etc.
The annual membership dues are $5 for adults and $2 for youngsters under the age of 16.
