The Ormsby Sportsmen's Association (OSA) of Carson City, a local organization for hunting and fishing enthusiasts, will hold the third of four monthly, summer picnics on Tuesday, Aug. 21.
The summer picnics are always held at Mills Park on the third Tuesday of the month during the months of June, July, August and September.
All of the OSA picnics begin at about 5:30 p.m., they last until about dark and feature barbecued steak, hamburgers and hotdogs.
Anyone attending is requested to bring either a pot-luck salad or dessert to share with others.
In October, the sportsmen's club will revert back to indoor meetings at the Carson Nugget Convention Center.
All OSA meetings, functions and activities are family-oriented, free of charge and open to all club members and to anyone else who is interested in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, etc.
