The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 48-year-old unemployed man from Carmichael, Calif. was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Saturday on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear, suspicion of misdemeanor driving without insurance and driving with an expired registration. Bail was set at $1,157.
• A 22-year-old heating technician from Carson City was arrested at 3:14 p.m. Saturday at Bunch Way and Carmine Street on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI, driving without a license and failure to exercise due care. Bail was set at $2,829. When asked, the suspect allegedly admitted to drinking exactly one 12-ounce beer. Later, he conceded he had actually consumed 11.
• A 28-year-old transient was arrested at 12:12 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Lee Street on two counts of suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing. Bail was set at $474.
