Carson High graduate Dusty Bergman can now call himself an all-star.

Bergman, a 1996 CHS graduate, was named on Thursday to the Pacific Coast League's all-star team. The PCL will play the International League in the Triple A all-star game on July 13 in Sacramento. The game will be televised by ESPN2.

Bergman, a relief pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels Triple A affiliate, the Salt Lake Stingers, has posted a 3-3 record in 23 appearances, allowing just 11 earned runs as a relief pitcher this season. Bergman has struck out 31 and walked just six in posting a 2.52 earned run average and also has four saves.

He hasn't allowed a run in his last six appearances. Last season, Bergman received a cup of coffee with the Angels Major League team, making one appearance for the Angels last year.
