Christopher G. Scott, 71, a Dayton resident for two years, died May 12, 2005, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.
He was born Sept. 18, 1933, to George and Mary Milne Teutschman in New York City.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in San Jose, Calif.
He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from San Jose State University.
Mr. Scott worked in the hospital industry in sales and marketing and general management.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Korean War veteran.
He was a member of B.P.O.E. Elks, Dayton Valley Golf Club and numerous professional organizations.
He was preceded in death by his sister Dee Border.
Among his survivors are his longtime companion, Caroline J. Punches; children David Mitchell Teutschman of El Monte, Calif., Virginia Teutschman of Spring Valley, Calif., Mary Mandelin of Snowflake, Ariz., and Shannon Scott of Antelope, Calif.; sister Georgeanne Schoop; brothers Robert Moller and Peter Teutschman; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Donations may be made to Carson-Tahoe Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 2168 Carson City, NV 89702, for its new cancer center.
Cremation will be handled by Capital City Cremation Society.
Walton's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
