A celebration of life for Paul B. Eskew, 60, a Carson City resident for the past 25 years, will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Johnson Lane Baptist Church, 1581 Johnson Lane, Minden.

Mr. Eskew died Sept. 21, 2005, at his home.

He was born May 18, 1945, in Concord, Calif., to Shuman and Sybil Towers Eskew.

He married Clara Whiteside.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Concord, Calif.

Mr. Eskew worked at the Ormsby House for seven years before moving to the executive chef position at the Carson Station, where he worked for 18 years.

Among his survivors are his wife and son Monroe, both of Carson City and son Paul Jr. and daughter Keeko Lynn of Kansas.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
