The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 50-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 7:22 p.m. Monday in the 3500 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. She allegedly had a blood-alcohol level of .20 when she choked her 16-year-old son. Bail was set at $3,132.


• An 18-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 11:06 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of North Saliman Road on suspicion of drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,132.


• A 44-year-old Gardnerville woman was arrested at 4:10 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor issuance of checks without sufficient funds and two warrants charging petty larceny. Bail was set at $1,175.


• A 20-year-old Dayton woman was arrested at 3 p.m. Monday at Wal-Mart on suspicion of felony possession of an altered prescription. Bail was set at $7,500.


The following are some of the 133 calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• A window was broken with a rock in the 400 block of Colorado Street sometime Saturday night.


• A court order-violation report in the 2400 block of North Carson Street at 11:26 a.m.


• Glass doors on a cake shop in the 1800 block of Highway 50 East were pushed in by someone trying to gain entry sometime between Saturday and Monday.


• A court order-violation report in the 1500 block of North Edmonds Drive at 1:39 p.m.


• A business owner in the 2300 block of South Carson Street asked to have a teen arrested after the teen stole a pair of $80 shoes on Sunday and returned them at 3:55 p.m. Tuesday. The teen was cited.


• A backpack found at Silver Sage and Sonoma streets was turned in to the Sheriff's Department at 10:14 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the 67 calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Commercial burglary report on Kit Kat Road in Mound House at 6:09 a.m.


• Search warrant at the Lazy Inn in Fernley at 9:42 a.m.


• Protective order violation in the 500 block of Sunny Lane in Fernley at 10:21 a.m.


• Destruction of property report in the 1400 block of Mountain Rose Drive in Fernley at 2:38 p.m.


• Harassment report in the 300 block of Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 2:39 p.m.


• Vehicle burglary in the 2300 block of East Newlands Drive in Fernley at 5:43 p.m.


• Accident on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 5:50 p.m.


• Drunken driving arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 5:55 p.m.


• Bomb threat in the 1600 block of East Newlands Drive in Fernley at 6:32 p.m. It was unfounded.


Storey County


The following are some of the 21 calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• A man reported at 7:27 a.m. a neighbor's dogs killed his sheep on Elizabeth Lane.


• Theft report in the 3000 block of Waltham Way at 7:27 a.m.


• Another report was made at 8:54 a.m. on Elizabeth Way that the same dogs from earlier also killed two rabbits.


• Theft report at 3:06 p.m. on Canyon Way.


• Traffic stop with citation issued at 4:30 p.m. on State Route 341.


• A stop sign on South C Street was backed over at 5:07 p.m.


• Traffic stop with a citation issued at 5:53 p.m. on South C Street.


Carson City court actions


The following people appeared in Carson City District Court on Tuesday:


• Mona Crabtree, 33, was sentenced to one year probation on a charge of conspiracy to commit home invasion. She kicked in the door of her romantic rival.


• Brianne Marie Crowley, 25, was sentenced to three days in jail on a charge of attempting to obtain a dangerous drug or prescription by fraud.


• Anthony Joseph Kelich, 54, was sentenced to 12 to 48 months in prison on third-offense drunken driving. "I don't care if you drink yourself to death - that's your business - but when you get behind the wheel of a car, that's my business," District Judge Bill Maddox said.


• John Lahair III, 40, pleaded not guilty to third-offense drunken driving. He faces 12 to 72 months in prison if convicted. A two-day trial was set for Aug. 7.


• A bench warrant was issued to Joseph Lokting, 22, for failure to appear in drug court. He also failed to appear in District Court to be sentenced for attempted theft.


• Mario Molina-Ordenana, 39, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 18 to 48 months in prison to be served concurrently with an 18- to 60-month prison sentence he is already serving out of Lyon County.


• Tammy Murphy, 34, was sentenced to five years probation for possession of a controlled substance.
