Marvin J. Larson, 75, a Wabuska resident, died March 25, 2006, at his home.

Mr. Larson was born March 21, 1931, in Menomonie, Wis., to Arnold and Erma Jean Larson.

He married Pauline McIvor in 1953.

He married Frieda Marcus in Menomonie, Wis.

Mr. Larson retired from Hodges Transportation, Nevada Automotive Test Center after 30 years.

He enjoyed working around the ranch and test center and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife Frieda in 1991; two brothers; brother-in-law Palmer McIvor; sister-in-law Reba Lovlien; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Among his survivors are his son and daughter-in-law Carl Lee and Kristen Larson of Florence, Ore.; sister, Sherry Contney of Eau Claire, Wis.; brother and sister-in-law Neil and June Larson of Lady Luck, Fla.; sister-in-law Phyllis Knutson of Carson City; sister and brother-in-law Judity and Elvin Stoner of Eau Claire; brother-in-law Bruce McIvor of Menomonie; sisters-in-law Ruby Swisher and Mae O'Donnell, both of Menomonie; and several extended-family members.

Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home in Yerington is in charge of arrangements.
