The U.S. Bureau of Land Management wants to caution Nevada residents to be careful while traveling off road due to the recent storms damaging Nevada roads. They are receiving reports from ranchers and agency employees that numerous roads in Elko and neighboring counties in Northern Nevada are being flooded by storms and spring runoff.

Some culverts are being washed out and soils are wet and muddy. The BLM asks residents to delay backcountry travel or recreation activities until conditions are dry.
