Edward 'Skip' King

Edward "Skip" King, 85, a Carson City resident since 1964, died April 1, 2006, in Carson City.

Mr. King was born May 2, 1920, in New Mexico, to Charles Luther and Cora King.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Barstow, Calif.

He was a life member of the Elks.

He enjoyed reading and boating.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora King, in 1989.

Among his survivors are his son Michael King, of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law Edward and Cindy King of Santa Margarita, Calif.; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

No services will be held at Mr. King's request.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
