Nancy 'Nana' Ostrander

A graveside service for Nancy "Nana" Ostrander, 71, a 26-year Carson City resident, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Mrs. Ostrander died April 5, 2006, at her home. She was born June 24, 1934, in Wilmar, Calif., to Alvie and Zelma Allen.

She married Marvin "Pops" Ostrander in Los Angeles.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in El Monte, Calif.

She was a homemaker and belonged to the PTA.

She was preceded in death by brother Dan Allen in Carson City.

Among her survivors is her husband of 53 years of Carson City; son Larry Ostrander of Carson City; sons and daughters-in-law Steve and Karen Ostrander of Carson City, David and Grace Ostrander of Covina, Calif., Chris and Mary Jane Ostrander of Carson City, and Markus and Jennifer McEntee of Carson City; daughter Cindy Leibfried of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law Kathy and David Becerra of Chama, N.M.; 19 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
