The University of Nevada baseball team blew a 7-0 lead in falling 10-8 at Louisiana Tech on Friday.

Louisiana Tech (18-12, 4-2 in the Western Athletic Conference) scored five runs in the seventh inning, with the rally capped by Jericho Jones' grand slam home run, giving the Bulldogs a 10-7 lead.

It was the second dramatic comeback win this week for the Bulldogs, who earlier scored seven runs in the bottom of the ninth with two outs for a 13-12 win against No. 3 Mississippi State.

Nevada (14-15, 4-3) rallied in the ninth against Bulldog closer Andrew Alsup, who pitched two innings to pick up the save. Alsup hit David Ciarlo, Dayton's Matt Bowman and Shawn Scobee with a pitch to load the bases with nobody out.

But Alsup induced Terry Walsh to hit into a double play, allowing a run to score. Bake Krukow then flied out to left to end the game.

The Wolf Pack took a 3-0 in the second. Leo Radkwoski doubled and Dan Eastham followed with a two-run single. Jordan Opdyke then hit an RBI single in the fifth to make it 3-0.

In the third, Shawn Scobee hit his 12th home run of the season and Krukow belted an RBI double to make it 5-0. In the fourth, Scobee walked to force in a run and Walsh hit a sacrifice fly to make it 7-0.

Bowman went 0-for-3. Carson's Owen Brolsma pitched a scoreless eighth for Nevada.
