Ernest Paul "Dirty Ernie" Graham, 63, a longtime Carson Valley resident, died April 4, 2006 at his home on the Godecke Ranch.

Mr. Graham was born Dec. 3, 1942, in Akron, Ohio.

He worked for Carson City, at several Carson Valley ranches, including baling hay on the Dangberg Ranch. He retired from Douglas Disposal in January 2005. He served in the U.S. Army in 1967 and was honorably discharged in 1973.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Walker.

Among his survivors are his father, Herbert Graham of California; sister, Barbara Fenner of Coquille, Ore.; brother, Wayne Graham of Pollock Pine, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law Sean and Teresa Cabral, of Dayton; two grandchildren; and several extended-family members and friends.

No services will be held at his request.

Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
