CARSON JVS
The Carson junior varsity softball team split two games at the Spanish Springs Tournament, beating North Valleys 16-8 and losing to Spanish Springs 7-2.
Carson overcame a 7-2 deficit by scoring 12 runs in the third to beat North Valleys. Tami Conn had two hits, a double, two runs and an RBI, Erin Johanssen had two hits, two runs and an RBI, Rebecca Gransberg had two runs and two RBI, Belen Munoz had two hits, a double and two rus and Kristina Diamond had two hits, two RBI and a run. Jaime Good was the winning pitcher.
Against Spanish Springs, Lisa Shores and Melissa Coyle each had a hit and an RBI. Jessie Sinclair went the distance in taking the loss.
