Scouting Utah Valley State: In a recent three-game series versus fellow D-1 independent Northern Colorado, Hales went 6-for-12, Bulow 6-for-11 and Connor 5-for-13 ... Pitching is definitely Utah Valley State's weak spot. Entering the week, the staff was yielding 6.38 earned runs per game and it had only three complete games, two saves and one shutout.

Scouting Nevada: The Pack enters this non-conference series on a three-game losing streak, dropping two straight to Hawai'i and one to UOP on Tuesday ... Bowman continus his steady performance at the plate. He is currently hitting a team-leading .385 and Powers has elevated him to the leadoff spot. Bowman collected three hits against UOP ... Krukow delivered two hits against UOP, raising his average to .265, tying him with Radkowski for third-best on the team... Nevada is 12-5 at home this season.
