Four dead in Yerington motel discovery

Investigators are working to determine the cause of death of four adults found Sunday in a motel room in Yerington.

None of the adults died from traumatic injury, according to a press release.

One of the deceased is identified as a 26-year-old Yerington native Phillip Doll, who was announced dead in the Casino West Motel room. The other three, two females and a male, were taken to South Lyon Medical Center where two were pronounced dead and the other soon died.

Autoposies are scheduled for today at the Washoe County Sheriff's Office. The Foresenic Investigations Unit from the Washoe County Sheriff's Office is assisting the Nevada Department of Public Safety in the investigation.

Yerington Police responded to a call by a motel employee about 1:23 p.m. Sunday. The employee investigated a complaint from a downtairs customer, who said water was leaking from a room above. The employee entered the room and found the four individuals, all of them unresponsive. He found water in the bathtub running and overflowing.
