Jones sixth, Pastrana completes two back flips

Carson City's Adam Jones settled for sixth in the X Games Moto X Best Trick event on Saturday in Los Angeles.

The story of the night was Travis Pastrana, who completed the first double back flip in the history of the event and nailed the landing to win the gold. Pastrana ran away with first after receiving a 98.60 for his double back flip.

Jones stood in fifth after the first round after scoring 89.40 and that scored ended up being good enough for sixth in the two-round competition. Jones could equal his first round score in the second round as he ended up with an 88.40.
