A funeral for Robert Irvin Kellogg, 53, an 11-year Gardnerville resident, will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Deseret Drive in Minden.

Mr. Kellogg died July 31, 2006, at his home. He was born June 5, 1953, in Washington, D.C., to Glenn Irvin Kellogg and Dortha M. Gillespie.

Before moving to Gardnerville, Mr. Kellogg lived at Mountain View, Calif.

He worked as a carpenter for the Douglas County School District.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He enjoyed flying, diving, side-car racing, his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, camping, fishing and spending time with his family.

Among his survivors are his daughter Jenna Kellogg of Gray, Tenn.; son Robert Kellogg of Gardnerville and sister Karen Kellogg of St. George, Utah.

Burial will take place at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bob Kellogg Memorial Fund care of the Bank of the West, Account No. 120016241, for the care of his children.

FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
