A memorial service for Esther Robertson, 84, a Minden resident since 1981, will be 11 a.m. Aug. 19 at the United Methodist Church in Gardnerville with the Rev. Pete Nelson officiating.
Mrs. Robertson died Aug. 8, 2006, at her home. She was born March 23, 1922, in Brown County, S.D., to John and Elizabeth Aho.
She married Charles Robertson in 1943.
She graduated from high school in Eveleth, Minn.
She was a homemaker.
She volunteered at the Douglas County Senior Center for 21 years.
She was preceded in death by her brother Lauri Aho.
Among her survivors are her husband, of Minden; daughter Cindy Maple; granddaughter Jaime Maple; brother Robert Aho; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City.
