Two 58-year-olds were arrested Saturday in Mills Park after a park ranger observed them having sexual intercourse near a children's train ride.

Juan Camacho-Lopez, of Carson City, and Matilda Marie-Ortiz, a transient, were arrested at 4 p.m. Saturday on suspicion of felony sex acts in public and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Ortiz was also charged with misdemeanor trespassing.

A park ranger allegedly saw the couple while operating the train ride and stopped the ride to prevent the children from witnessing the alleged sex act, according to the arrest report.

Bail was set at $7,737 for Lopez and $7,974 for Ortiz.
