A memorial service for Dewey Harold Gionta, 38, a 35-year Carson City resident, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Gionta died Aug. 15, 2006, in Carson City. He was born Dec. 15, 1967, in San Andreas, Calif., to Arthur and Jerry Gionta.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Among his survivors are his mother of Carson City; daughter, Chelsea Gionta and son, Ronnie James Gionta, both of Modesto, Calif.; sister, Kathleen Gregory of Pittsburgh; brother, Arthur David Gionta of Plano, Texas; two aunts; and two uncles.
Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
