A memorial Mass for Linda Darlene Fitzpatrick, 64, a 26-year Washoe Valley resident, will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick died Aug. 21, 2006, at her home. She was born June 8, 1942, in Portland, Ore., to Charles and Gertrude L. Steel Sain.
Before moving to Washoe Valley, Mrs. Fitzpatrick lived in Portland.
She attended Drain High School in Drain, Ore., and graduated from the nursing program at Western Nevada Community College in Carson City.
She was a registered nurse for the Nevada Department of Corrections.
She belonged to a 12-step recovery program and St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Cremation took place at Truckee Meadows.
Memorial donations may be made to the Central Office of AA, 436 S. Rock Blvd., Sparks, NV 89431.
Truckee Meadows Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.
