During the high-stress season, when shopping and family make you feel like there is no way your life could get any more hectic, I am here to show you that it could be much, much worse.

In the realization of what has always been a huge irrational fear of mine, a woman from near Dallas was pulled off a plane and later banned by the airline for ... wait for it ... flatulence. Ain't that a gas?

To compound the problem, she lit matches " while the airplane was in mid-flight mind you " to attempt to cover up the resulting odor. The plane made an emergency landing and the FBI and TSA were brought into investigate.

So, next time you let one slip, just remember that no matter how bad it is, it didn't get you banned from flying.

Even if it should have.
