A funeral for Robin R. Bodden, 50, a Minden resident, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Douglas County Mortuary in Minden.
Mr. Bodden died Sept. 10, 2006, in Minden. He was born July 7, 1956, in Coral Gables, Fla., to Bertram and Lucille Ellen Ellington.
Before moving to Minden, Mr. Bodden lived in Carson City.
He graduated from Reseda High School in 1974, and graduated from Northrup University in California.
He worked in general avionics, and was the owner and operator of an aircraft repair shop.
He served in the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division from 1974-78.
He belonged to St. Gall Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his father in Carson City in 1982, and his mother in Carson City in 2001.
Among his survivors are his sisters Barbara Bodden of Carson City and Julie Bodden of Chatsworth, Calif.; brothers Gary and Timothy Bodden, both of Carson City; two nieces; and six nephews.
Burial will take place at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.
Memorial donations may be made to Douglas County Search and Rescue.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
