Carol J. Scheurn, 64, a 12-year Dayton resident, died Dec. 6, 2006, in Carson City.
Mrs. Scheurn was born Sept. 12, 1942, in Stockton, Calif., to Paddy and Gladys Tomlinson.
She married Paul Scheurn on Feb. 19, 1960, in Tracy, Calif.
Before moving to Dayton, Mrs. Scheurn lived in Tracy from 1962-94.
She graduated from high school in Tracy.
She was a cashier for the Tahoe Biltmore Casino for 15 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Among her survivors are her husband, of Dayton; son Roger Scheurn of Dayton; daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Tim Jones of Mound House; sisters Barbara Coffin of Jamestown, Calif., and Linnie Gatewood of Hobbs, N.M.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory. At her request, no services will be held.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
