Sheriffs' log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Virginia Lea Palmer, 34, of Carson City, was arrested at 1:18 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Simone Avenue on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor battery and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,896.

• Derek Dale Jackson, 19, of Carson City, was arrested at 10:28 p.m. Friday at Hackamore Way and Musser Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon. Bail was set at $2,500.

• A 29-year-old loan officer from Carson City was arrested at 1:25 a.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Marian Avenue on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, failure to maintain lane, required lamps, no proof of insurance and causing a hit-and-run accident involving property damage. Bail was set at $2,670.

Lyon County

The following are some of the 115 calls to which deputies responded:

• A report of a domestic dispute involving child abuse or neglect on Spear Court in Fernley at 1:30 a.m. Friday.

• A report of destruction of property in the 100 block of Palmer Court in Dayton Valley at 9:36 a.m. Friday.

• A report of sexual offenses in the 10000 block of Geurts Lane in Stagecoach at 4:44 p.m. Friday.
