Old Crow, Yukon is a small town of about 300 aboriginal people, known as the Vuntut Gwitchin.

It is located at the confluence of the Crow River and the Porcupine River, and is the only Yukon community located north of the Arctic Circle.

Old Crow is an isolated community, being the only village in the Yukon Territory, which does not have road access.

It is only reached by air from Whitehorse, Yukon, which is about 700 miles to the south.

Beginning today, December 14, its 300 residents will have to endure a period of two weeks without any sunlight.

Their sun will not rise again until Dec. 29.
