A memorial service for Clayton John Wills, 39, a three-year resident of Gardnerville, will be 2 p.m. Friday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.
Mr. Wills died Dec. 9, 2006, at his home.
He was born June 19, 1967, in Carson City to Dennis and Marilyn Wills.
Before moving to Gardnerville he lived in Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Carson City.
He was a 1985 graduate of Douglas High School and worked in construction building cabinets and refinishing furniture.
Mr. Wills was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Nick Uhart, in 1985 in Minden; paternal grandfather, Eugene Wills, in 1964; and grandmother Iona Wills in 1990 in Carson City.
Among his survivors are his parents; sons Steven McMartin of Carson City and Trever Wills of Prescott Valley; grandmother Ada Uhart; brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Sherry Wills of Topaz Ranch Estates; niece Stephanie Lange;, nephew Steven Wills; and cousins.
Walton's Sierra Crematory is in charge of cremation. Burial will be at the Mottsville Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Gall Memorial Garden.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
