A funeral for Alice Lillian Drew, 89, a one-year Carson City resident, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Drew died Dec. 15, 2006, in Carson City. She was born May 7, 1917, in Sacramento, Calif., to Arthur Thorsen and Lillian Jauck.

She married Willis D. Drew on Aug. 21, 1934, in San Francisco, Calif.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Drew lived in Dayton for two years.

She enjoyed folk dance, traveling and HAM radio.

She was an office manager for her husband's real estate business.

She was a member of the Sacramento Sheriff's Office's HAM radio program, the Tuesday Club of Sacramento, the Allied Arts Club of Sacramento, and Menzaleh Temple No. 16, Daughters of the Nile.

Among her survivors are her husband of 72 years, of Carson City; children Dennis A. Drew of Stagecoach, and Nancy R. Drew of Sacramento; sisters Ethel Harrison of California and Mary Pierson of Sacramento; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Burial will take place in Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery's Garden of Peace.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
