A memorial Mass for Juan Mariscal Lizaola, 64, a two-year Carson City resident, will be 10 a.m. today at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville. Viewing will be 1-4 p.m. today at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith in Carson City.
Mr. Mariscal died Dec. 21, 2006, in Carson City. He was born June 21, 1942, in Ameca, Jalisco, Mexico, to Leocadio Mariscal and Carmen Lizaola.
He married Agueda Mariscal in October 1970 in Ameca, Jalisco, Mexico.
Before moving to Carson City, Mr. Mariscal lived at South Lake Tahoe.
He was retired but had worked at the Embassy Suites and Harrah's Casino.
He was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church.
Among his survivors are his wife; sons Juan O., Jose, Leo and Livier Mariscal; daughters Arcelia and Miriam Mariscal; sisters Engracia Mariscal de Quirarte, Maria de Jesus Mariscal de Rubio and Maria Mariscal de Meza; brothers Alberto, Pedro, Jose, Salvador, Angel and Ramon Mariscal; and seven grandchildren.
