Maxine Lewis, 84, a 26-year Carson City resident, died Dec. 20, 2006, in Carson City.
Mrs. Lewis was born May 30, 1922, in Shawnee, Okla., to George and Verna Earnhart.
She married Clarence Lewis on Oct. 6, 1948, in Reno.
Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Lewis lived in Oakland, Calif.
She was a high school graduate and a homemaker.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking and video poker.
She was preceded in death by brother Ivan Earnhart; sister Estella Black, and by her husband.
She is survived by nephews Robert Robertson of Carson City, Roy Robertson of Livermore, Calif., and Bill Black of Modesto, Calif.
Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
