The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Robert A. Forsythe Jr., 28, of Gardnerville, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at Goni and Old Hot Springs roads on suspicion of felony contempt of court, obstructing a peace officer and not wearing a seat belt. Bail was set at $5,454.


• Eric Floyd Shepard, 22, a framer from Stagecoach, was arrested on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon, misdemeanor failure to appear on first-offense drunken driving, failure to appear on second-offense drunken driving and violation bail conditions. Bail was set at $4,150.


-- The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• Gas was siphoned from a vehicle in the 4500 block of Oak Street sometime Tuesday night.


• A woman reported she was pushed by someone Sunday and miscarried.


• A stereo was stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of Clearview Drive on Wednesday.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• Motor vehicle accident on Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley at 7:51 a.m.


• Destruction of property report in the 2200 block of Highway 50 East in Dayton at 10:26 a.m.


• Narcotics report in the 300 block of Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 12:23 p.m.


• Fire report on Fremont Lane in Fernley at 2:10 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest in the 700 block of Annie Way at 4:08 p.m. in Fernley.


• Domestic dispute arrest in the 300 block of Grosh Avenue in Dayton at 6:16 p.m.


• Domestic dispute report in the 100 block of Fireman Row in Dayton at 6:29 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• A man stated his girlfriend's mother threatened him Wednesday at 7:06 a.m.


• A man was "playing chicken" with the train in Wadsworth, a Union Pacific employee reported. Deputies were unable to located the man.


• A 12-year-old boy was hit and threatened at school by a classmate a caller reported at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday.
