The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 19-year-old fast-food worker from Carson City was arrested at 12:44 .m. Friday in the 2400 block of Bunch Way on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a temporary restraining order. Bail was set at $3,132.


• A 35-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 10:19 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of two counts of gross misdemeanor child neglect and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Her bail was set at $5,632.


-- The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• A candy machine was broken into in the 5600 block of South Carson Street sometime before 2:20 p.m. Thursday.


• A 16-year-old boy was arrested Friday at 6:28 a.m. in the 1900 block of North Carson Street for hitting his 15-year-old sister and 12-year-old brother.


• A 13-year-old boy reported at 9:37 p.m. Thursday he and his 9-year-old sister were home alone for the past three hours and were frightened. They said they were unable to contact their mother because she'd turned off her cell phone.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• A man was reporting he heard "human noise" coming from a box in his living room on Canyon Way at 3:29 p.m.


• A student playing basketball was hit in the face and had some teeth knocked loose at Virginia City High School at 8:07 p.m.
