The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Michael W. Mosher, 42, of Reno, was arrested at 9:10 a.m. Sunday at Carson and Broadleaf on suspicion of a felony warrant for nonsufficient funds checks. Bail was set at $1,500.


• A 31-year-old man from Sylmar, Calif., was arrested at 4 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of criminal contempt. Bail was set at $3,000.


• A 64-year-old retired man from Carson City was arrested at 4:38 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of West Winnie Lane on suspicion of drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,132.


• Orisio Gutierrez-Murillo, 22, of Carson City, was arrested at 3:48 a.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion felony possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $2,500.


• A 26-year-old laborer from Mound House was arrested at 8:47 p.m. Saturday at Graves Lane and Highway 50 East on suspicion of drunken driving and no valid driver's license. Bail was set at $1,319.


• A 31-year-old child-care worker from Carson City was arrested at 3:41 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Como Street on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


• A 52-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 4:50 p.m. Saturday at Carson and Long streets on suspicion of misdemeanor open container on the street. Bail was set a $632.


• Brandon D. Peart, 24, of Carson City, was arrested at 5:34 a.m. Sunday in the 3800 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony probation violation and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail was set.


• A 22-year-old salesman from Carson City was arrested at 9:45 a.m. Saturday in the 3500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


• An 18-year-old Wal-Mart employee from Dayton was arrested at 11:40 a.m. Saturday at Carson and Rice streets on suspicion of two counts of misdemeanor petit larceny, no proof of insurance and fictitious display of plates. Bail was set at $1,533.




Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of a residential burglary in the 1500 block of Reese River Road in Fernley at 1:32 a.m. Saturday.


• A report of vandalism to a motor vehicle in the 4500 block of Highway 50 West in Silver Springs at 11:34 a.m. Saturday.


• A motor vehicle accident involving a fire on Highway 95A in Mason Valley at 5:55 p.m. Saturday.


•A report of destruction of property on Spruce Street in Fernley at 9:35 p.m. Saturday.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of a theft from an apartment in the 200 block of North C Street in Virginia City at 9:50 a.m. Saturday.


• A traffic stop at the bridge on Canyon Way at 4:13 p.m. Saturday.


• A report of a drunken driver on State Road 341 at 7:44 p.m. Saturday.
